Kilat Live takes a flat 2% platform fee on tips. Sociabuzz lists 5% per transaction, Saweria lists 5% (6% for OVO, with a Rp150 minimum per transaction), and Trakteer and Tako list 5%. On Rp1.000.000 in tips withdrawn once to a bank, you would receive about Rp975.000 on Kilat Live, Rp945.500 on Sociabuzz and Rp945.000 on Saweria. Those percentages are not like for like, because some platforms fold payment gateway costs into their number and others do not. Every figure below comes from the platform's own pages, checked on 2026-11-01, and each one is linked.

The same Rp1.000.000, three ways
Assume Rp1.000.000 in tips in a month, and you withdraw everything once to a bank account.
| Kilat Live | Sociabuzz | Saweria | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Platform fee | Rp20.000 | Rp50.000 | Rp50.000 |
| Withdrawal fee | Rp5.000 | Rp4.500 | Rp5.000 |
| You receive | Rp975.000 | Rp945.500 | Rp945.000 |
Sociabuzz uses its default setting, where the streamer pays the 5%. Saweria uses the standard 5%, not the 6% for OVO. The Kilat Live line leaves out the payment service fee that supporters in Indonesia see added at checkout, and we do not know how large that fee is. The Sociabuzz and Saweria lines include gateway costs inside the percentage. So the table shows what the streamer keeps, not what supporters pay in total.
Why the percentages are not like for like
Sociabuzz says its 5% covers payment gateway and operating costs, and Saweria's FAQ says the same about its 5% to 6%. Trakteer lists a 5% platform fee and deducts payment method fees separately, and a streamer can pass those to supporters. Kilat Live keeps the platform fee at 2% and shows supporters a service fee at checkout instead.
The result is that a lower headline number does not guarantee a bigger payout on its own. What does help is looking at three things for your own situation: the percentage, who pays gateway costs, and the withdrawal fee against how often you withdraw.
Small tips and the Rp150 floor
Saweria's pricing says each transaction pays at least Rp150. By that rule, a Rp1.000 tip loses Rp150, or 15%, and a Rp2.000 tip loses Rp150, or 7.5%. Kilat Live's minimum tip is Rp10.000, so it is not built for very small tips. If most of your supporters send Rp1.000 to Rp5.000, Saweria's lower minimum tip is a real advantage, even though its fee is higher.
Other platforms
| Platform | Fee on tips | Withdrawal | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trakteer | 5% platform fee, plus payment method fees deducted separately | Queue withdrawal is free and takes 1 to 5 business days, Rp100.000 minimum. Instant withdrawal costs Rp5.000, Rp50.000 minimum. These help articles date from 2022 | Pricing, withdrawal limits, instant withdrawal |
| Tako | 5% platform fee | Rp5.000 per withdrawal. A help article updated 2025-07-29 says the percentage is lower on larger withdrawals | Home page, help article |
| Streamlabs | Takes no cut of tips. Card processing is 2.9% plus $0.30, and 2% more if the currency differs | n/a | Tipping FAQs |
| StreamElements | Takes no cut of tips. PayPal or SE.Pay fees apply | SE.Pay minimum withdrawal is $5 | Tipping overview |
If you stream outside Indonesia
Sociabuzz and Saweria are built around Indonesian payments, although Sociabuzz lists many countries. Kilat Live works in countries Stripe supports: you connect your own Stripe account, supporters pay by card, and the money goes straight to you. Kilat takes a 2% application fee and Stripe's processing fees apply on top. Setup steps are in how to accept donations with Kilat Live.
Streamlabs and StreamElements say they take nothing from tips themselves, which beats 2% on the platform cut. They do not give you a rupiah tip page with QRIS and e-wallets, and card or PayPal fees still apply. If your audience pays by card and you do not need local payment methods, they are worth a look.
