What Instagram auto-DM does
Someone comments a keyword on your post, such as GUIDE. The tool sends them a DM with your link. This is comment-to-DM. People get the link without hunting for it in your bio.
Other automations reply when someone DMs you a keyword, reply when someone mentions your account in a story, or hold the link until the person follows you. The last one is called a follow-gated DM.

Kilat compared with a link-in-bio tool plus Manychat
Manychat is a dedicated DM-automation product. Its Essential plan costs $17 a month, or $14 a month billed yearly ($168 a year), for 250 contacts. Pro is $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly. Manychat says the price depends on your billing country. It lists Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, SMS and email as channels. It is not a store, so you still pay for a link-in-bio and checkout tool.
Kilat PRO is US$15 a month, or US$9 a month billed yearly (US$108), and includes the page, the store and the Instagram automation in one account. Contacts are counted differently by each tool, so compare how many people you message in a month. Manychat is the better pick if you need channels beyond Instagram and WhatsApp. Kilat's WhatsApp AI agent pairs with numbers in Indonesia and Singapore only.
Kilat compared with Stan AutoDM and Beacons
Stan Store's Creator plan costs $29 a month ($300 a year) and includes Stan AutoDM for Instagram, booking tools, courses and a 0% sales fee. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial.
Beacons lists keyword-triggered Instagram DM automations on all four plans, including Free. Advanced DM automations carry Beacons branding on Free and Creator ($10 a month). Free and Creator take a 9% seller fee, and Creator Plus ($30 a month) takes 0%.
If you want auto-DM at no monthly cost, Beacons is the stronger pick. If you want the DM automation next to a 0% Kilat fee, courses, bookings and a WhatsApp agent, Kilat PRO fits better.
Limits to know before you pay
- Instagram automation needs PRO. Every new account gets one 14-day PRO trial with no card.
- When the trial or PRO ends, the account becomes Free. Your Superlink and products keep working and selling, and automations and AI pause.
- WhatsApp pairing works for numbers in Indonesia and Singapore only.
- Kilat's DM automation covers Instagram. If you need Messenger, SMS or email flows, Manychat lists them.
